| So to sum up this camping excerpt of our vacation: I have never been so happy to arrive (better to be dropped off at a campsite in the middle of the night than stranded on a lonely road), so tired, so completely tired of being dirty, so enchanted by Fall, so weary of the cold, so in love with a State Park, so ready for chairs and beds and real food, so ready to be done with dirt and flies, and so happy with the great individuals my kids are growing up to be. |
